A brief biography of
Walter Boston, Jr.
 
Walter Boston, Jr.; a leader, communicator and author is a native of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, where he was born and raised. He and his wife Lisa share the joy of one son, Walter, III and a daughter, Charity Ashley. The Boston’s reside in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dr. Boston received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord at the age of fourteen and in that same year acknowledged his call into Christian ministry. While practicing ministry he enrolled in a two year correspondence course earning an accredited associates certificate in theology and biblical leadership. In August of 1980 he was licensed as a minister of the gospel. In 1981 at the age of seventeen, he was catechized, ordained and installed into his first senior pastorate at a First Baptist Church in rural North Carolina. He also served as senior founding pastor of City of Praise, Inc. for twenty four years. In 1988 he was publicly ordained and consecrated to the office of Bishop in Washington, D.C by the United Full Gospel board of Presbytery, Inc.   He is also a member of CACM, a leadership organization founded and lead by, Bishop B. Courtney McBath of Norfolk, VA.
 
In 1991, he earned a Bachelor of Theology, in 1993 a Masters of Divinity: both from Union Christian Bible Institute, Durham, North Carolina and in 2005 a Doctor of Divinity from School of Bible Theology and University, San Jacinto, California. He also holds a certification in counseling.
 
As a thirty year veteran leader, he is founder of C.A.U.S.E. International (Caring And Uniting to Serve Each Other) established in 1993 as a leadership organism which mentors leaders in varying sectors. This organism also comprises a family of churches in the United States and abroad. Dr. Boston is an author and columnist writing for several newspapers and magazines. As a businessman, he serves as CEO of the Boston Group; a consulting and literary organization. He is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards.
 
Since the conception of his ministry, he continues to make many radio and television appearances world-wide. His travel is broad in the United States and other nations sharing in: churches, conventions, universities, public and private schools and small businesses.
 
A young man who has given himself to the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and developing leaders, he does it with integrity, based upon a spirit-led life; is the lexis that describes Walter Boston, Jr.
